BO4 – Being Whole and Healthy While on the Road

Our bodies comprise three tubes of intelligence that are inter-connected; our brain and nervous system; our heart and circulatory system; and our gut and lymphatic system. At an instinctual level, we all connect slightly differently to these three systems, to survive, strive and thrive. These differences explain why some people love traveling the world and others, perhaps unwisely, never leave home.

Our bodies also have a number of clocks and pumps and people operate maximally at certain frequencies, rhythms and pressures. Changing altitude, living environments and time zones can have both beneficial and deleterious effects on our health. When we travel, our bodies need re-sequencing and normalising. Science reveals that too much travel without adequate system re-setting increases the risks of metabolic disease. Yet changing our environments dramatically, paradoxically can strengthen our health.

If you travel a lot, and even if you don’t, join John for an enlightening presentation on how to enjoy excellent health. Please dress comfortably for this talk. We will be moving our bodies and energy.

John’s session draws on his 20 years experience teaching Yoga, Tantra, Aikido, Qi Gong, Meditation and Zen Inquiry around the world and 30 years as a business, health and well-being advisor to executives and organisations in Australia, Europe and the United States.
